Hi 👋 there, my name is Md. Shamsul Alam, but you can call me “Shams”. I’m a UX designer (UI/UX design) with a passion for problem-solving. I studied Art Design at Shishu Academy in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and completed my undergrad at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) in Computer Science and Engineering.
My interest in design grew from hearing about it from my elder brothers at ULAB. From there, I started my journey of self-learning and mentorship. I began my design career as an intern at Wafi Solution in 2016, and after the internship ended, I secured a remote job with US-based clients. I’ve also worked with companies like Simple Media and VisionX Partners.
As a mentor on ADPlist and seminar instructor, I love sharing my experience and expertise with others. I even taught a seminar on “Basics of UI design” at my varsity as the primary instructor. Additionally, I’ve completed the Google UX course from Coursera with excellent soccer.

Senior UI/UX Designer · Universal Islamic Studios
– Lead the team and produced flagship products of “Murray’s Burgers & Shakes” and “Domicile”.
– Developed 10+ retro posters for “Murray’s Burgers & Shakes” restaurant.
– Designed a retro food menu, decoration elements, and marketing elements.
– Designed 15+ design concepts for the Domicile website and marketing elements.
Result:
– Murray’s Burgers & Shakes got a 4.7 out of 5 rating from 75 customers.
– Doubled the business revenue in 2 years.
Product Designer · Simple Media
– Lead the design team and collaborate with the developer directly.
– Reconstructed “The TAC” website with responsive design.
– Created 4+ food companies & 3+ health industry websites and grew revenue fast.
– Redesigned The Simple Media website and increased 2x traffic.

– Lead the team to make more than 10 valuable clients’ projects.
– Built the Scoozer mobile app for 30-60 year old people.
– Launched a website for showcasing the Scoozer’s features.
– Crafted the marketing element and converted 30% of users into active users.
– Designed VisionX Partners website and was able to reach 3x more potential clients.
